Data center powered by wind energy

Microsoft recently announced that one of its data centers in Wyoming (USA) will only need the wind to work.

The company has sealed a deal with two wind farms and so wind will be the only source of power for its new data center in the USA.

These are not the first deals that the company does at the level of renewable energy and in 2018 Microsoft estimates that 50% of the energy it will use will be renewable.
