Interview – Alexandre Reis

What’s the first very thing that you do when you arrive at your work station?

After I open my laptop I check on my emails to prioritize my tasks for the day. Then, usually, I prepare a tea to give me hope and joy to get my work day started.

Tell us 3 things we should know about you?

I’m very outgoing and social but I do have also my moments of introspection. I do love teamwork and have the feeling that I’m following a path, I’m contributing for some goal and cause. I like to be challenged, to be better and overcome myself every day. I want to keep growing, learning fresh and new things.

We don’t want to invade your privacy but… what are your regular hobbies?

I’m a “family guy” so I love spending time with my family: my wife and my son. I like to ride my motorcycle and to wander. I also like sports like running, playing tennis…

If you were a historic character, which one would you be and why?

Nelson Mandela. The fight for freedom. The sacrifice that he made to achieve a beautiful cause which he never stopped fighting for.

Which innovation would you be proud to be the author for?

I think I would be quite proud of myself if I had invented Facebook. It is something that changed our life completely. It changed our way of communication, our way of sharing with each other.

Which celebrity would you like to hang out with?

Steven Spielberg. It would be genius to share the experiences of creating one of the best movies ever done.
